What is Disco?
Disco is a finance app for freelancers and self-employed workers. It detects your income deposits and helps you split them into spending, tax reserve, and savings — so you're always prepared come tax season.
How does Disco detect my income?
Disco connects to your bank account via Plaid, a bank-level secure service used by thousands of financial apps. When a deposit lands in your account, Disco detects it and notifies you so you can split it.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. Your bank credentials are handled entirely by Plaid and are never stored by Disco. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). We do not sell your personal information.
How do I connect my bank account?
During onboarding or from Settings, tap "Connect Bank" and follow the prompts. You'll sign in to your bank through Plaid's secure interface. Disco only gets read-only access to your transactions.
Can I change my tax and savings percentages?
Yes. Go to Settings > Financial Settings to adjust your tax reserve and savings percentages at any time.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@getdisco.io and we'll process your request within 30 days.

I forgot my password
Tap "Forgot Password?" on the login screen. We'll send a password reset link to your email address.
My bank connection stopped working
Bank connections can expire if your bank requires re-authentication. Go to Settings > Bank Connection and tap "Reconnect" to re-link your account.
I'm not seeing my income deposits
Make sure your bank account is connected and active in Settings. Income detection may take a few minutes after a deposit lands. If the issue persists, contact us at support@getdisco.io.
